* Cable Installation & Management: Execute large-scale HV and LV cable pulls, including the proficient setup and operation of industrial winches and pulleys.
* Termination & Commissioning: Perform precision glanding and termination of cables within switchboards, substations, and switchrooms.
* Hazardous Area Specialization: Apply EEHA expertise to install and make off barrier and potted glands in compliance with stringent safety and technical standards.
* Structural Fabrication: Lead the installation and onsite fabrication of cable trays, ladder racks, and bespoke bracketry.
* System Integration: Install and maintain earthing systems, industrial lighting, and small power distribution networks.
Professional Requirements
* Experience: A minimum of three years post‐apprenticeship experience within heavy industrial electrical construction. Candidates must demonstrate a background in Mining, Oil & Gas, or Process Plants. (Please note: Maintenance, residential, and commercial backgrounds do not meet the criteria for this role).
* Site Readiness: Previous experience operating within FIFO/DIDO frameworks and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in remote site environments.
* Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of industrial cable management and structural installation techniques.
Mandatory Qualifications
* WA Electrical License and Trade Certificate.
* Working at Heights (Current within 2 years).
* Confined Space Entry certification.
* EWP / High‐Risk Work License.
* CPR / LVR (Current).
Preferred Qualifications
* EEHA Certification.
* Certificate IV in Instrumentation.
Roster & Hours
* Roster: 19:8 (days)
* Hours: 70 hours per week (188hrs/swing)
* RDOs: 0.8hrs from each day accrue as an RDO, one day (7.2hrs) of these must be taken mid swing for fatigue management.
* Fly out day, paid for hours worked or ordinary time, whichever is the greater.
* Annual Leave & Personal Leave: Accrued (full-time employment)
Travel & Accommodation
* Flights: Provided from Perth to Karratha
Other state candidates can be considered, however flights from interstate to Perth at own cost.
* Camp: Accommodation and meals provided at TBC.
