Our client is a reputable organisation looking to make the most of their Azure data platform.
This ideal candidate for this role will have at least 5 years' experience in data engineering, with a strong background in designing and delivering scalable data solutions within Microsoft Azure.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and other Azure services.
Implement reusable and modular data transformation logic to support multiple semantic models and reporting layers, including Power BI.
Address all aspects of data integration including ingestion, transformation, validation, and orchestration across SAP, SaaS, and custom applications.
Analyse functional and non-functional requirements to assess data architecture, performance, and scalability.
Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to define and maintain data models, dataflows, and metadata repositories.
Demonstrated experience in planning and executing the transition of Power BI assets to Microsoft Fabric.
Support and maintain Microsoft Purview for data governance from a data engineering perspective.
