With a focus on building long-term, value based customer relationships that enable achievement of the hotel's sales objectives, this role is a key contributor to the overall revenue goal and would suit a results driven, dynamic individual.
Working closely with the Senior Sales Manager and Director of Sales, your role is responsible for sourcing new business, managing existing business and driving the conversion process. You will answer into the Director of Sales and work in the proactive team.
Position Summary:
• Identifies, qualifies and solicits new group/catering business to achieve personal and property's revenue goals
• Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts
• Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings
• Support Sheraton Grand Sydney's Service and Relationship Strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence through each customer experience
About You:
• 1-3 years proven experience in a proactive sales role

Salary is $80,000-$90,000 per year depending on experience
