Role: Early Childhood Senior Educator
Location: South‐East Queensland Region, QLD – All centres are located within the South‐East Queensland regional area in QLD
Salary Range: Senior Educators – $39.85 p/hr to $41.05 p/hr + Superannuation (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Employment Type: Full‐time Permanent
Responsibilities
* Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.
* Have passion and enthusiasm to lead a classroom effectively engaging with educators, families and children to implement the educational program.
* Utilise and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide to deliver a high‐quality education program and practice in collaboration with the Education Leader.
* Comply with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart policies, procedures and requirements.
* Positively contribute to delivering the centre and business plans.
* Lead a classroom effectively engaging with educators, families and children to implement the educational program.
* Support a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement.
* Seek and share best practice examples to improve the education program.
Qualifications
* Senior Educator – Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
* Current Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification.
* Robust knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
* Passion and enthusiasm to lead a classroom effectively engaging with educators, families and children to implement the educational program.
* Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families.
* Support a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement.
* Seek and share best practice examples to improve the education program.
* Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.
