What You'll Do

* Generate leads and drive outbound prospecting to build and own your pipeline
* Handle inbound enquiries and convert them into sales outcomes efficiently
* Identify and qualify opportunities to pass to the enterprise and projects team
* Manage your pipeline with discipline, tracking activity, progress and results in HubSpot
* Close deals: follow up quotes, handle objections
* Build genuine relationships with customers in manufacturing, construction and industrial sectors.

What We're Looking For

Essential

* Prior sales, business development, or customer-facing experience in a B2B environment
* Minimum 1-2 years of B2B sales experience required
* Demonstrable drive, ambition and motivation to build a career in B2B sales
* Strong work ethic with the discipline to sustain daily activity targets, including high-volume outbound prospecting
* Excellent verbal communication skills, comfortable on the phone and in face-to-face customer settings
* Strong written communication skills suitable for quote follow-ups, customer correspondence and CRM notes
* Coachable, with a genuine desire to learn from senior sales colleagues and apply feedback
* Resilience and persistence: able to handle rejection, learn from it, and stay productive day to day
* Curiosity about industrial products, customers, and the markets Swift Metal Australia serves
* Comfortable with technology and CRM systems, with willingness to learn HubSpot to a high standard
* Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.

Desirable

* Exposure to manufacturing, construction, infrastructure, water, oil and gas, or mining sectors
* Experience with HubSpot or other modern CRM platforms
* Familiarity with structured qualification frameworks such as BANT or MEDDIC
* Tertiary qualification in business, engineering, marketing or a related field
* Practical familiarity with technical drawings, specifications, or Bills of Quantities.
