Our vibrant Social Centre in Port Kennedy helps enable our clients to remain at home by providing a valuable social and therapy well‐being service, with a focus on quality of life.
Who we are looking for:
* Someone who is friendly and out‐going with good communication and listening skills
* Comfortable engaging with older males and their interests
* Reliable with a genuine desire to make a difference
About the role:
* Offer one‐on‐one companionship or small‐group companionship
* Engage in social activities such as playing cards, board games or puzzles
* Accompany residents on outings to Bunnings
* Support participation in Centre programs

Commitment: Regular – more than 6 months
Type Of Work: Companionship & Social Support, Seniors & Aged Care
Time Required: Flexible hours between 9am‐3pm, weekdays for a minimum commitment of six months.
Training: Volunteers undertake online Infection Control and Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards training. All volunteers receive an orientation at site prior to commencement and further training when required.
