Randstad is currently a preferred partner with a local Government organisation to recruit for the below role: Job Title: P&C Business PartnerLocation: Outer East Melbourne VIC (Hybrid)Salary: $60 per hour + superContract: 3-month temporary contract (potential for extension) About the Role As a business partner, you will provide informed advice and technical expertise on a wide range of People and Culture matters, including the resolution of workplace issues, performance management, case management, and Enterprise Agreement guidance.
Key Responsibilities Provide timely, accurate, and contemporary HR advice to support leaders in developing high-performing work teams.
Manage a broad range of workplace relations issues, including responding to and investigating employee grievances, disputes, and complaints.
Support leaders and client groups through major change, grievances, and investigations with a humanistic, employee-centric approach.
Partner with client groups to deliver tailored HR solutions and gain their trust by being honest, consistent, and providing support.
Contribute to continuous improvement by reviewing internal People and Culture processes, procedures, systems, and policies.
Actively review legislative changes (e.g., Fair Work Act, Modern Awards) to update relevant policies and systems.
Skills & Experience Required Experience as a trusted advisor or HR business partner, providing informed advice and technical expertise.
Strong workplace relations skills, with experience managing performance management, change management, grievances, and disputes.
Demonstrated experience in conducting workplace investigations.
Ability to interpret Enterprise Agreements and applicable Awards and provide guidance.
Experience in Technology One or a similar HRIS is advantageous.
Screening Requirements National Police Check Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold a valid work permit or visa.
