About the Role

As Conference & Events Supervisor, you will play a key role in delivering seamless and memorable events within one of Sydney's most iconic beachfront luxury hotels. You will support the day-to-day operations of our conference and function spaces while leading the team to provide exceptional guest experiences.

What You'll Be Doing

* Supervise the daily operations of conferences, meetings, weddings, and special events, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional guest experiences
* Lead event setup and service in line with function sheets, luxury service standards, and operational requirements
* Liaise with kitchen teams, event organisers, and internal departments to coordinate all event details and service timings
* Support, train, and motivate the Conference & Events team while maintaining a positive and high-performing culture
* Ensure all function spaces, equipment, and service areas are impeccably presented, fully operational, and compliant with safety and hygiene standards

Qualifications

About You! You are passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences, with a hands‐on leadership style and a strong focus on team development. You thrive in a fast-paced events environment and bring professionalism, energy, and attention to detail to every service.

* Previous experience in Conferences & Events, hospitality, or hotel operations, with team leadership experience preferred
* A confident and hands‐on approach, with the ability to lead by example and support team training and development
* Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
* Qualifications in Hospitality or Event Management will be highly regarded
* Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate is essential
* Valid Australian Working Rights / Visa is essential
