About the role: The Administration Support Officer will provide administrative support within the acute allied health services department, reporting to the manager of Occupational Therapy. Responsibilities include booking and scheduling appointments, banking and cash handling, data entry, and general administrative tasks. Previous experience in a hospital setting is desirable, although not required.
The Occupational Therapy Department provides services across Canberra Hospital and Centenary Hospital for Women and Children, including critical‐care units, medical and surgical wards, outpatients, maternity and paediatrics.
Key responsibilities:
* Book and schedule client appointments.
* Handle banking and cash transactions.
* Perform accurate data entry.
* Execute general administrative duties.
* Support occupational therapists and allied health assistants.
Requirements:
* Current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011.
* Compliance with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
