About the Opportunity
Rivtow Marine is seeking a full‐time Storeperson based in Port Hedland, Western Australia. The role reports to the Supply Chain Coordinator and focuses on safe and efficient day‐to‐day warehouse operations, including materials handling, housekeeping and data entry.
Responsibilities
* Customer satisfaction: Delivering exceptional service and meeting operational needs.
* Supplier relationships: Building and maintaining productive partnerships.
* Continuous improvement: Enhancing processes and systems for optimal performance.
* Maintenance and housekeeping of all storage facilities.
* Physical unloading, receipting and distribution of parts ordered or requisitioned.
* Purchasing and organizing locally sourced requisitions.
* Using Pronto ERP, Canvas and Cognos reporting programs for reporting, stock control and purchases.
* Conducting rolling stocktakes and full year‐end stocktakes; updating the system for all variances arising from these stocktakes.
* Participating in maintaining all logistics functions.
* Assisting the Supply Chain Coordinator in identifying and maintaining inventory.
* Championing continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications and Experience
* Procurement and warehouse experience in marine or mining (desirable).
* Strong Microsoft Office experience, particularly Excel.
* Experience with Inventory Management Systems (desirable).
* Forklift Licence (desirable).
* LR Licence or ability to obtain.
