Work Type: Permanent - Full Time

* Full-Time | Permanent
* Level Five | Salary: $93,410 – $99,503, plussuperannuation
* A 9-day fortnight work pattern applies to thisrole

The opportunity

This role involves developing and coordinating high quality periodic works programs and maintenance schedules for the City's buildings, facilities and structures. You will coordinate the scheduled works programs in conjunction with maintenance contracts and key stakeholders to ensure scheduled works are completed as required. This will include but not limited to the management of work orders, procurement processes, reporting and record keeping associated with the scheduled works.

You will maintain documented work systems and standards to improve reliability, optimise maintenance outcomes and ensure the City is compliant with statutory requirements and industry best practice.

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

* Diploma in a discipline relevant to the field of BuildingMaintenance
* Minimum of five years' experience in a similar maintenanceplanning role(s)
* Coordination of scheduled maintenance activities across a multidisciplinary trade workforce using an electronic maintenance management system (CMMS)
* Current White Card
* Current unrestricted C class driver's licence
* Demonstrated ability to apply specialist knowledge and skills to maintenance and construction processes
* Experience with managing tradespersons and contractors
* Experience and ability to interpret, analyse and recommend resources applicable to municipal maintenance programs, improvements, and maintenance work
* Experience undertaking inspections to determine compliance with appropriate activity standards and service levels
* Knowledge and understanding of Workplace, Health and Safety principles as they apply to construction and maintenance activities
* Experience in writing and preparation of reports, including the use of MS Office suite and other software packages
* Ability to manage and prioritise to achieve target outcomes

* *The salary for this role commences at step 1, with potential for movement within the range based on demonstrated skills and experience. Incremental progression typically occurs at the conclusion of each 12-month period, in accordance with the Industrial Agreement.
