Responsibilities
* Providing effective holistic coordination of events to achieve a seamless experience for presenters, Arts Centre Melbourne teams and all stakeholders
* Project‐managing a variety of events at different stages of contracting, planning, risk management, scheduling, delivery, financial settlement and review
* Managing and supporting events through clear communications and documentation within the context of the Event Management Framework
* Acquiring and distributing event information to internal teams, service providers, stakeholders and presenters
* Acting as the key operational contact for presenters, providing outstanding relationship management within the Presenter Management Framework
Qualifications
* Relevant qualification in arts, event or venue management, or equivalent professional experience in the entertainment industry, event or venue management
* Strong understanding of event delivery processes and ability to identify and implement continuous process improvements
* Strong attention to detail and time management skills
* Demonstrated capacity and initiative in the planning and facilitation of events with an ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
* Ability to deliver a high level of customer service in a high‐pressure environment with a pro‐active approach to problem‐solving
* Experience in building strong relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
* Understanding of current technology and operating systems; experience with Ungerboeck (Momentus), Microsoft Office Suite, DocuSign and Adobe programs highly desirable
* Established relationships with relevant industry networks, presenters, promoters, artists and commercial partners is desirable
Salary and Position
Full‐time ongoing position. Band 3.3. Salary $91,970 per annum plus superannuation.
