The Creative Learning & Education Coordinator supports the creative learning department for Fremantle Art Centre ensuring the successful development, implementation and evaluation of high-quality creative learning programs, experiences and resources for diverse audiences. FAC's Creative Learning Program includes creative craft courses for adults, school holiday programs, educational courses and resources, special events, digital content and professional development. Working closely with the Creative Learning Manager, this role leads programming for young people and will be responsible for developing and delivering strong school holiday programs as well as dynamic and relevant education programs for primary and tertiary students and educators. The individual will build an inclusive network of teachers and students connected through FAC's creative learning program; they will engage artists and facilitators in delivering innovative art experiences while developing our digital resources.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver Creative Learning programs for children and young people by identifying and developing new program opportunities, contributing to and implementing the creative learning strategy, and supporting audience development initiatives in alignment with the WFAC's strategic and artistic direction.
* Create learning experiences, resources and content that complement WFAC's artistic programs, support engagement with schools and enable self-directed participation across audiences.
* Develop and deliver high‐quality on‐site and out‐reach engagement activities and programs for schools and where relevant, ensure programs are linked to appropriate WA curriculum.
* Build and foster relationships with schools, educators, artists and other organisations and groups working with young people. Work with the Audience and Engagement team to promote Creative Learning programs for children and young people.
To be considered for this position, you will need
* Experience in the development, delivery and evaluation of multi‐disciplinary art programs for primary, secondary and tertiary students.
* Experience in supervising staff and contractors including artists and education facilitators
* Experience in the development and maintenance of cross‐sector partnerships with education and community facilities.
* Demonstrated experience in commitment to excellent customer service.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills with proven ability to tailor communications to different individuals and / or stakeholders.
* Proven experience working in small teams, and balancing independence, initiative and teamwork.
* Well‐developed computer literacy skills.
* Tertiary qualifications in Education and/or equivalent experience in an Arts/Cultural organisation and/or experience programming for young people.
* Working with Children's Check.
* Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.
