Clinical Nurse Specialist - Rehabilitation
Full Time Position
Hunter Valley Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist who will be responsible for providing leadership to the Rehabilitation Ward team to ensure efficient and effective patient management.
Responsibilities
* Work as part of the health care team
* Adhere to Healthscope policies and procedures, participate in working parties or committees (as required), demonstrate a commitment to quality improvement, work, health and safety and the achievement of hospital accreditation
* Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Exhibit exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
* Prioritise, multi‐task and manage time efficiently
* Establish a professional working relationship with all health care workers
Qualifications
* Current registration (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
* Relevant post‐registration qualifications and a minimum 3 years' experience working in a rehabilitation ward setting
* Demonstrated experience in case‐managing complex admissions
* Experience in monitoring and evaluating clinical outcome measures, managing complex clinical issues and recommending strategies to progressWorking with the Nurse Unit Manager to foster a strong collaborative team environment
