Even if you only meet some of the criteria, we'd love to hear from you.***About this Opportunity**We are seeking an experienced and passionate Team Leader to lead the newly established Mitchell and Murrindindi Surge Team as part of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Local service. This 12-month fixed-term opportunity will play a pivotal role in supporting communities impacted by bushfires, delivering person-centred, community-led mental health and wellbeing services across the Mitchell and Murrindindi Shires. Working closely with the Operations Manager and broader Greater Shepparton, Strathbogie and Moira (GSSM) Mental Health and Wellbeing Local, you will establish and lead a high-performing team, fostering an inclusive, values-driven culture that ensures participants experience seamless, integrated support tailored to their individual needs. As Team Leader, you will provide operational leadership and clinical oversight to a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based mental health and wellbeing support. You will champion a "no wrong door" approach, supporting participants to connect with health, social care and community services while promoting engagement, recovery and wellbeing. The role includes facilitating collaborative care planning, risk assessment and safety planning processes, building strong partnerships across the service system, and driving continuous service improvement to ensure local relevance and responsiveness.
