Job Description
As a Service Delivery Team Leader, you will support and develop a large team of passionate community workers who provide a wide range of in‐home services to aged‐care clients around the Adelaide metropolitan area. The role is best suited to someone based in the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide coaching, leadership and direction to a geographically dispersed team to achieve exceptional client service.
* Develop staff at all stages, including recruitment, induction, buddy runs and support safety and well‐being initiatives.
* Manage team and individual performance, recognizing performance gaps early and addressing them constructively through coaching and feedback.
* Conduct interviews and inductions for new Care Workers, and manage payroll, timesheets and invoices.
* Handle client escalations and collaborate with the Human Resources team on employee‐related matters, including performance, conduct, well‐being and compliance issues.
* Work closely with multiple departments and stakeholders, including rotations within the Contact Centre to provide first‐call resolution.
* Operate a hybrid model: autonomous work from home and field duties, including 1‐to‐1s, group meetings and in‐field assessments.
* Travel into the office in Keswick as required.
Qualifications & Experience
* Previous experience managing a large team within the community or aged‐care industry.
* Demonstrated people‐leadership experience with a strong ability to have difficult conversations and get the best from people.
* High‐level interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate across all levels.
* Exceptional time‐management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
* Strong passion for compliance and achieving customer satisfaction.
* Strong focus on safety first.
* Stakeholder engagement and problem‐solving skills.
* Relevant qualifications (or equivalent experience) in Leadership plus Training and Assessment are desirable.
Employment Details
This is a full‐time permanent role. Most of your time will be spent on the road with your team; occasional work from home is possible.
