Senior BAS & Client Delivery Manager (Remote | Part-Time)

We work closely with our clients across trades, retail and professional services, providing proactive support and meaningful financial visibility, not just transactional bookkeeping.
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a highly capable and reliable operational team member to help oversee client delivery, workflows, compliance processes and team accountability within our remote environment.
This is a senior role suited to someone who enjoys ownership, leadership, communication and operational problem-solving.
The Role
This is not a standard bookkeeping role.
We are looking for someone who is confident balancing technical bookkeeping and compliance work with operational oversight, communication, workflow management and team coordination.
You will work closely with the Director and wider team to help ensure deadlines are met, client delivery remains high quality and internal systems and processes continue to improve as the business grows.
This role would suit someone who naturally takes ownership, enjoys creating structure, communicates proactively and takes pride in helping a team operate smoothly and consistently.
The right person will become a trusted operational support within the business, helping create structure, consistency, accountability and a calm sense of organisation across the team.
Core Responsibilities
Workflow & Team Oversight
Oversee workflow and delivery across a small remote bookkeeping team
Ensure client deadlines and deliverables are completed accurately and on time
Monitor workflow progress and task management systems
Follow up outstanding items with team members and contractors
Support accountability and consistency across the team
Step in operationally to support workload when required
Assist with improving internal systems, workflows and processes
Compliance & Payroll Responsibilities
Manage BAS Agent responsibilities and ATO communication on behalf of clients
Handle ATO queries, follow-ups and compliance matters
Review compliance due dates and XPM workflow settings
Review and lodge STP weekly
Process payroll for regular clients
Support and oversee client transition to weekly superannuation requirements and automated super systems
Client Delivery & Communication
Maintain oversight of a smaller portfolio of clients
Ensure communication with clients is proactive, professional and timely
Participate in weekly operational meetings with the Director
Assist with bi‐weekly workflow and communication reviews
Support pricing, proposals and onboarding processes over time
What We're Looking For
* Registered BAS Agent
* Minimum 5+ years of BAS Agent experience required
* Strong understanding of Australian payroll, BAS, GST, STP and compliance requirements
* Experience managing recurring deadlines in a fast‐paced environment
* Strong organisational and workflow management skills
* High attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and proactively
