About The Role
We are looking for experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners to provide life‐changing therapy to NDIS participants. No two days will be the same. If you were here last week, these are some of the things you may have done:
* Work in diverse settings; from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres.
* Utilise assessment and intervention skills to support participants in achieving their goals and maximising NDIS funding.
* Build meaningful relationships with the participants and their supports (family, carers, friends).
* Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans with function‐based strategies, utilising positive behaviour support framework.
* Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA).
* Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges.
* Attend weekly team meetings in the Hub; sharing stories of impact, coffee and laughs.
* Tap into the knowledge and support of your Team Leader and dedicated Therapy Mentor.

To work as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will have a relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor, Masters or Graduate Diploma) and relevant registration such as the following:
* Occupational Therapists: degree in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration.
* Speech Pathologists: degree in Speech Pathology and SPA registration.
* Social Workers: degree in Social Work and AASW membership.
* Mental Health Nurses: degree in Nursing and AHPRA registration.
* Psychology, Psychological/Social Science or related field: BSPA membership.
In addition you will need:
* Be deemed a Behaviour Support Practitioner by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (evidence of letter required).
* Minimum 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
* A positive and flexible approach to work.
* Strong communication skills and be a team player.
* Commitment to personal and professional growth.
* A valid Australian driver's licence.
* NDIS Workers Screening Check.
* Working with Children Check.
