Job Summary
HammondCare is looking for an experienced Permanent Part‐time Exercise Physiologist to support Aged Care Residents across our residential portfolio in Caulfield VIC. This position requires 2 days per week (approximately 15.2 hours) with negotiated work days.
Responsibilities
* Provision of effective and timely physiotherapy or exercise physiology to residents and appropriate support and advice to their representatives and the HammondCare team, to meet individual needs and preferences.
* Collaborate closely with residents, their representatives, staff and the broader Allied Health Team to assess complex care needs, set care goals, and provide treatment and interventions to deliver the best possible outcomes for residents.
* Participate as a member of the HammondCare team in applying the Mission and values to pursue objectives in a person‐centred, continuous quality improvement work environment.
* Participate in quality improvement projects and continuing professional development.
Qualifications & Experience
* Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare's Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action.
* A tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA or a tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology and accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist with ESSA.
* Practical experience in supporting people with varied and changing needs.
* A current driver's licence, safe driving record, and willingness to drive the organisation's minivan (C class licence).
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
* Demonstrated effective time‐management skills and self‐initiation.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
