This role is responsible for producing high-quality, cost-effective piping designs that meet client specifications and industry standards.
You will work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant, and innovative design solutions that support both operational excellence and business growth.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed and accurate piping designs in line with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders including clients, vendors, and suppliers to achieve project objectives.Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of company quality procedures, ensuring compliance across all deliverables.Coordinate and manage design activities to align with project schedules and budgetary targets.Foster strong working relationships across departments such as Finance, HSE, Quality, Marketing, and Tendering.Work confidently with 3D Point Cloud data for design verification and modelling.Interpret and produce P&IDs, piping specifications, and equipment drawings accurately.Prepare and draft piping layouts, isometric drawings, line lists, and indexes.Prepare and update Process, Instrumentation, and Piping Diagrams (P&IDs) in collaboration with the Process Engineering team.Demonstrate a sound understanding of pipe support design principles (experience in this area will be highly regarded).
Generate detailed pipe support drawings and ensure alignment with design standards.Undertake site visits to collect and verify as-built data, incorporating field measurements into design updates.Qualifications & ExperienceProven experience in piping design within engineering or industrial sectors.Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D, PDMS, or similar.Strong understanding of mechanical and piping systems, codes, and standards.Excellent communication and coordination skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.Why Join Us?
