Byford Secondary College is an Independent Public School catering for children from Years 7 to 12. Our purpose is to work together to provide effective learning experiences where students are prepared for a successful life beyond school.
The Role
The Workplace Learning Support Officer will support students undertaking work placements, conduct workplace visits, assist with locating and securing industry placements, and ensure adherence to Duty of Care policies. The role includes supporting staff in maintaining databases, preparing paperwork, reports, and monitoring student data.
The officer will work closely with students to meet the demands of the Workplace Learning program for WACE achievement and will form collaborative relationships with VET teachers, employers, students and parents.

Selection Criteria
* Demonstrated skills in developing, implementing and evaluating Workplace Learning programs.
* Demonstrated well‐developed keyboarding and computer skills, including a working knowledge of databases, spreadsheets and word processing.
* Demonstrated sound written, oral and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, students, employers, and parents.
* Demonstrated sound organisational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and identify priorities.
