Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery and manufacturing equipment, handling and processing steel components and materials, performing quality checks and measurements, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safe operation of machinery and manufacturing equipment
* Handling and processing steel components and materials
* Performing quality checks and measurements to ensure accuracy
* Manual handling and general production support
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Previous machine operating experience within the steel or metal industry
* Ability to read and interpret technical or production drawings
* Experience using overhead cranes (highly regarded)
* Forklift Licence (advantageous but not essential)
* Physically fit and confident with manual handling tasks
* Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented attitude

* Day shift only: Monday to Thursday 6:00am - 2:40pm, Friday 6:00am - 12:10pm
