The Role
We currently have fantastic opportunities for Kitchen Hands who are passionate about food and service and are willing to assist in the delivery of high‐quality products.
This role supports the Chef Manager in producing high‐quality food for our canteen, boarding, and function catering services.
Key Responsibilities
* Clean and sanitise all counter areas and food preparation areas at the end of each day's trade, adhering to food health and safety standards.
* Use the correct cleaning chemicals on food preparation areas and kitchen equipment.
* Follow the established cleaning schedule.
* Maintain clean and sanitised service areas and equipment.
About You
* Previous experience in customer service and food presentation is preferred.
* Experience in function wait service is preferred but not essential.
* Previous experience working with students is preferred.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of food safety practices.
* High standards of personal presentation and grooming.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast‐paced environment as part of a team.
* Food preparation skills.
