About the Role
As a Cafe All Rounder at WHSmith, you bring a genuine passion for coffee and great service. You must be able to serve all customers in a timely/efficient manner and follow all food safety guidelines.
You will also be responsible for:
* Preparing and serving food and beverages to cafe standards.
* Greeting and interacting with customers in a warm and professional manner.
* Operating POS system and ensuring front of house is always well presented.
* Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the cafe.
* Handling both cash and card payments efficiently.
* Wednesday and Friday availability is a must
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:
* Cafe all rounder experience in a fast paced environment with minimum 1 year of barista experience.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
* Experience with working with food safety standards.
* Excellent communication skills and the drive to deliver outstanding service to our customers.
* Ideally 1 year of food prep experience - comfortable working in a fast paced kitchen (highly advantageous).
* Food safety certificate advantageous.
