About the role
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Physical Health & Wellbeing Consultant to conduct initial assessments, develop and monitor individualized exercise programs, and provide person‐centred outcomes at one of our sites. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who has just graduated or has around 12 months of experience as an Exercise Physiologist.
Location
Walyalup – Fremantle, WA
Compensation
$75,000 – $90,000 plus superannuation and NFP salary packaging benefits.
What you'll do
* Work with individuals on a one‐to‐one basis and in groups on site to support those experiencing physical health and wellbeing concerns.
* Conduct a range of assessments including functional capacity evaluation, musculoskeletal and fitness, worksite and ergonomic assessments.
* Prescribe clinical exercise with a focus on work conditioning and strengthening, modeled on client‐focused short‐term interventions.
* Deliver psycho‐educational, work conditioning, manual handling, chronic pain management, and strengthening group‐based programs.
What you'll bring
* Accredited Exercise Physiologist registered with ESSA (Exercise and Sports Science Australia) or an AHPRA registered Physiotherapist.
* Demonstrated ability to apply evidence‐based and best‐practice therapeutic approaches.
* Exceptional organisational abilities to prioritise and manage key duties effectively.
(You'll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – we'll guide you through this.)
