We remain steadfast in our commitment to promoting the economic, political, and social inclusion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.About The RoleOur new programme, Pathways to Safety and Support provides effective intervention and support to children, young people and their families, with problematic and harmful sexual behaviours (PHSB) by linking them with targeted and coordinated supports.DutiesProvide tailored support and advocacy to children, young people, and families with complex support needs, regarding problematic and harmful sexual behaviours (PHSB), using a strengths-based, person-centered approach.Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop, implement, and review safety and support plans that address both strengths and areas of risk.Coordinate wrap-around support by working closely with government departments, schools, health services, and community agencies to raise awareness and deliver integrated services.Support Child and Family Practitioners in performing their role in this program; assisting them in delivery of the service, especially with the management of more complex cases, including support at visits, meetings, and to resolve more challenging situations.Support the Leadership team with program and process development, review, and implementation.Develop and facilitate education and awareness through the planning and delivery of group sessions, workshops, and information sessions for clients and sector professionals.Build strong, culturally safe relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse clients and communities to ensure inclusive and respectful practice.Our BenefitsWe support people to live their best life.
