About the Role
Grampians Health is currently seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to facilitate the development of clinical practice within a dedicated educational program. Working closely with the relevant Lead, you'll be responsible for designing, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating targeted educational programmes while providing hands‐on clinical supervision and creating valuable learning experiences that bridge theory and practice, guided by the Best Practice Clinical Learning Environment (BPCLE) framework and relevant curriculum standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, recruit, and coordinate students for the relevant nursing & midwifery education program, including funded projects and post‐graduate initiatives.
* Monitor and assess students' clinical progress, competence, and preparedness for advanced practice and qualification in the chosen specialty.
* Ensure all activities link to National Safety and Quality Health Services Standards (NSQHS) and align with the BPCLE framework.
* Present as a professional role model and clinical leader.
* Support learners to gain appropriate theoretical knowledge and clinical experience across a variety of care settings, providing timely feedback and facilitating the achievement of learning objectives.
Skills & Experience
* Must hold current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
* Have current and substantial (≥ 5 years) clinical nursing experience in the specialty area.
* Hold a postgraduate qualification in the specialty clinical area or be willing to work towards the same.
* Hold or be willing to work towards a tertiary qualification in the field of education.
* Demonstrated experience supporting learners and staff in the specialty clinical area.
* Attendance at programmes or completion of online modules directly relating to clinical supervision and support of learners in the workplace.

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024‐2028. The classification is Educator (RN35) which is paid at $62.93 per hour.
