About The Opportunity
As a Collection Services Plant Operator, you'll be responsible for the collection of mobile waste bins from residential and commercial premises, distribution and maintenance of wheelie bins, and general depot upkeep. You'll operate specialised vehicles and equipment, follow predetermined routes, and contribute to a clean and sustainable region.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following key selection criteria:
* Substantial experience operating dual control vehicles and managing truck maintenance.
* Strong local knowledge of the Bundaberg Region and ability to follow collection routes.
* Understanding of waste minimisation and recycling practices.
* Sound knowledge of Department of Transport regulations and Council procedures.
* A commitment to safety, teamwork, and customer service.
* A current 'C' and 'HR' class licence.
* A valid General Construction Induction (White) Card.
