About the opportunity
We are currently looking for a qualified Senior Technician/Mechanic to join our Mazda dealership in Lismore on a Full-Time basis.
This role is ideal for technicians who enjoy critical thinking, advanced fault-finding, and staying ahead of evolving automotive technology.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle faults using advanced Nissan diagnostic equipment
* Perform repairs, component replacements, and software updates in line with manufacturer standards and procedures
* Conduct vehicle inspections, testing, and road tests to accurately identify and verify issues
* Interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic data to deliver efficient and accurate repairs
* Collaborate with workshop teams and provide technical support to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction

Qualifications
* Exposure to dealership environment an advantage, however not essential
* Strong communication skills
* Current manual drivers license
* Take pride in your work by producing high quality workmanship
