Senior Security Consultant Job Description
This role is responsible for conducting penetration testing and providing security expertise to clients. The Senior Security Consultant will work closely with the Managing Security Consultant or Team Lead to achieve key objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver comprehensive penetration tests for customers, including application, network, systems, and infrastructure assessments.
* Prepare high-quality reports detailing security issues, recommendations, and solutions.
* Build strong relationships with customers, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
* Engage with sales and solutions teams to assist with scoping, costing, proposals, RFQs, and tenders.
* Lead customer discussions, including kick-off meetings, regular updates, and presenting test results.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in information systems, software development, or a similar field.
* Penetration testing certifications such as SANS, OSCP, or CREST CCT (Applications or Infrastructure).
* A minimum of 4 years' experience as a security testing practitioner or cyber practitioner.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build sustainable solutions.
