Drive specification and sales of high-performance construction systems into commercial projects by partnering with architects, builders and developers. This role offers the opportunity to influence project outcomes early and play a key part in expanding market presence across QLD.

Our client is an innovative supplier of high-performance building materials designed to enhance safety, fire protection and acoustic performance in commercial construction. With a growing footprint across Australia, they are well positioned to capitalise on increasing demand for smarter, more efficient construction solutions.

Description

This is a newly created role, offering the opportunity to take ownership of growth across Queensland and play a key role in expanding market share.

Reporting to the State Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales activity across the commercial construction sector.

Key responsibilities
* Building and developing relationships with architects, builders and developers
* Driving early-stage specification to influence product selection on projects
* Managing a pipeline of projects from design through to completion
* Delivering technical presentations on product innovations
* Identifying new business opportunities and driving project growth across QLD
* Collaborating with internal teams to support project delivery and successful outcomes
* This is a hands‐on, growth‐focused role where you will have real influence over strategy, pipeline development and market penetration.
Profile
* Proven experience selling into the commercial construction market, particularly to architects and specifiers
* Background in insulation, cladding, façade or technically driven building materials
* Strong understanding of project-based sales cycles and specification processes
* Commercially driven with the ability to identify and convert opportunities
* Confident presenting technical solutions to a range of stakeholders
* Self‐motivated and comfortable operating in a role with autonomy and ownership
Job Offer
* Competitive base salary of 100k-120k + Super + Tools of the Trade
