Share Your Skills. Strengthen Community. Change Lives.
You have experience. Perspective. Practical skills.
And those gifts can help unlock someone else's potential.
Compass is seeking volunteers across retail, gardening, food service, trades, administration and more. If you see possibility before problem and believe everyone has something valuable to contribute, we would love to hear from you.
At Compass, people with disability are not defined by limitations. They are individuals with unique gifts, talents and ambitions. Our Trainees are actively building skills, confidence and independence, and volunteers play an important role in walking alongside them as Allies and mentors.
This is not about "doing for."
It's about doing with.
Whether you're sharing retail experience, supporting a garden project, mentoring in a workshop, assisting in food preparation, or contributing administrative skills, your role is to support growth, capability and real-world learning.
What You'll Be Part Of
Volunteers work in structured, supportive environments alongside our team and Trainees. You may:
* Support retail and customer service experiences
* Assist with gardening and outdoor projects
* Share practical trade or workshop skills
* Help in food service and hospitality settings
* Contribute organisational and administrative expertise
Every interaction is an opportunity to build confidence, independence and community connection.
Why Volunteer With Compass?
Because stronger communities are built when everyone contributes.
Because inclusion grows through shared experience.
Because when people are seen for their gifts, incredible things happen.
Volunteering with Compass means being part of something meaningful, supporting people to shape their own futures and make a real impact in the community.
If this sounds like you, we'd love to start the conversation.
