We’re looking for an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead our software engineering function through its next stage of growth and modernisation. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, responsible for translating technical strategy into execution across a growing engineering team supporting mission-critical systems used throughout the business. You’ll lead a team of software engineers, developers and QA specialists responsible for the systems that power our online ordering, production workflows, automation, integrations and operational platforms across both AU and US operations. This role is ideal for a technically strong engineering leader who enjoys balancing: people leadership platform reliability engineering quality operational scalability and delivery execution About the Role As the Software Engineering Manager, you’ll play a key role in: Leading software engineering delivery across multiple business-critical systems Managing and mentoring team leads, engineers and QA team members Translating strategic priorities into clear engineering roadmaps and execution plans Driving backlog management, prioritisation and agile delivery practices Supporting architecture, platform scalability and modernisation initiatives Partnering with infrastructure and systems teams to maintain uptime, resilience and security standards Managing engineering metrics, reporting and operational performance Supporting recruitment, onboarding and development of engineering talent Championing continuous improvement and responsible AI adoption across the engineering function About You You’ll likely bring: Proven experience leading software engineering teams within a fast-paced environment Strong technical foundations across modern web technologies and cloud infrastructure Experience scaling teams, systems and engineering processes Strong stakeholder communication skills across technical and non-technical teams A pragmatic and commercially minded approach to technology delivery Experience balancing delivery speed with engineering quality and operational stability Strong leadership capability with experience coaching senior engineers or team leads Experience with the following technologies/environments is highly regarded: PHP JavaScript / Vue.js MySQL AWS Docker Linux environments API integrations and cloud-based systems Why Join Easy Signs?
