We're looking for a highly organised planner to join our Water Services Team to keep our projects running smoothly every day.
What You'll Do
As a Schedule Planner, you will coordinate and optimise daily water operations activities across field crews and Team Leaders, ensuring planned, preventative and reactive works are delivered efficiently. The role involves managing schedules, monitoring workloads and resources, resolving scheduling conflicts, maintaining accurate operational records, and supporting the coordination of capital and operational projects. This is your opportunity to work closely with stakeholders across Council, contributing to informed decision‐making, continuous improvement initiatives, and the reliable delivery of essential water services to the community.
What We're Looking For
* Tertiary qualification in Water Industry Operations or a related discipline
* Current Class C Driver Licence
* Experience coordinating planned and reactive works in a field‐based operational environment
* Experience within water operations, utilities, infrastructure maintenance, construction or similar industries
* Strong resource planning and scheduling capability
* Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office applications
* Well‐developed written communication and reporting skills
* Sound knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety requirements
* Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
