About the Role
We're looking for a Maintenance Electrician to join our Sydney Roads and Asset Performance contract.
In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for maintaining, fault-finding, and upgrading streetlighting infrastructureand Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS).
Permanent full-time position– primarily day shifts
Flexibility required– occasional night shifts, on-call duties, and weekend work (shared via rotating roster)

Based in Arndell Park, with travel across the Parklands region.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain and service traffic signals and ITS equipment
Ensure compliance with statutory and contract requirements
Follow OH&S protocols in line with Ventia policies
Participate in on-call and relief service rotations
Undertake training to enhance contract-relevant capabilities
Assist with emergency response coordination
Contribute to the review and improvement of operational procedures
Support the Asset Manager and ITS Asset Engineer with asset planning
Perform other duties as directed by the ITS Supervisor
About You
Qualified Electricianwith a current electrical licence (essential)
Experience with ITS and/or traffic signals(highly regarded)
Valid driver's licenceandConstruction White Card(essential)
Willingness to provide after-hours supportwhen required
