About the Role
This is a dedicated support role designed to be the operational backbone of our elite Buyers' Agent (BA) team. You will be our expert on the ground, conducting detailed, systematic property inspections that feed directly into our analytics model. Your work will free up our BAs to focus on high-level client strategy and negotiation.
This is a high-volume, field-based position. You can expect to spend
approximately four days per week (80% of your time) on the road
, physically inspecting a wide range of properties across Melbourne. The remaining 20% will be dedicated to compiling detailed assessment reports, managing data, and coordinating schedules.
You will receive intensive training in our unique, analytics-first inspection methodology. You will be expected to follow this
strict, step-by-step process
for every property, ensuring every evaluation is systematic, objective, and data-driven. This role is crucial for maintaining the quality and consistency of our data, which is the foundation of our entire business.
Key Responsibilities
* Property Inspections:
Conduct thorough on-site inspections of properties shortlisted by the Buyers' Agent team, adhering strictly to Premium REA's proprietary assessment checklist and data-gathering process.
* Detailed Reporting:
Systematically capture and report on all property attributes, including condition, build quality, layout, aspect, and potential defects. This includes taking high-quality, structured photographs and notes.
* Final Inspections:
Conduct all pre-settlement final inspections to ensure properties are in the agreed-upon condition and all terms of the contract have been met.
* Data Entry:
Accurately and efficiently upload all inspection data, reports, and media to our central database, ensuring it is ready for analysis by the BA team.
* Scheduling & Logistics:
Manage your own inspection schedule in coordination with the BA team and selling agents, optimizing your routes for maximum efficiency.
* Market Research:
While on-site, provide observations on neighbourhood-level amenities, street appeal, and other relevant local factors.
Requirements
* Exceptional observational skills and an obsessive eye for detail.
* A highly organized, process-driven, and methodical
mindset.
* A
valid Victorian driver's license
and access to a reliable, well-maintained vehicle.
* Strong
time management and project management skills
; ability to manage a high volume of inspections and deadlines under pressure.
* A strong
passion for architecture, design, and property fundamentals

* Strong written communication skills
for producing clear, concise, and accurate reports.
* Client-centric mindset (your "clients" are the internal Buyers' Agents) with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for results.
* Ability to work independently in a high-performance environment.
* Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience, ideally in Real Estate (e.g., Property Management, Sales Assistant), Building/Construction, or a similar field-based operational role.
* A valid Agent's Representative Certificate is highly regarded (preferred but not essential).
* Mandarin or other language skills are a bonus but not a requirement for this role.
