About the role:
As Area Manager for Ultimate Security, Victoria, you'll lead a high-performing team, overseeing operations and business development efforts to expand our portfolio. Your focus will be on client satisfaction, staff safety, and contributing to our mission to deliver top-tier security services.
Key Accountabilities:
* Leadership & Team Management: Lead and support staff across Victoria, ensuring operational excellence and team empowerment. Monitor performance and foster career development.
* Business Development: Acquire new clients and expand existing accounts. Collaborate with the State Manager to develop sales strategies.
* Client & Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the primary client contact, building long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including local law enforcement. Identify growth opportunities.
* Operations & Service Delivery: Oversee smooth contract transitions and maintain operational documentation. Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
* Staff Management & Development: Lead staff adoption of IT solutions for efficiency. Mentor high-potential staff for career advancement. Oversee the recruitment, induction, and training to ensure competence and alignment with policies.
* Administration & Compliance: Manage audits, payroll, rostering, and annual leave for assigned sites. Ensure compliance with policies and contractual agreements.
What You'll Bring:
* 5+ years of experience leading security services operations and driving business development or sales initiatives.
* Proven ability to manage operations, sales, and client relationships.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong interpersonal skills.
* Experience leading diverse teams and driving service excellence.
* Strategic mindset with a focus on identifying new business opportunities and growth.
* Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with senior leadership.
* Relevant State Security License and qualifications.
