The Change Manager will be supporting a large scale ICT program by undertaking activities relating to the development and implementation of change management strategies and plans including creating organizational awareness, engaging senior leaders to build advocacy and sponsorship, and supporting end users through the transition to a new information management practices and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement and monitor a comprehensive change management strategy and plan to support the successful delivery and adoption of the Information Management solution.
Lead the development of communication, engagement, and training materials to ensure staff awareness, understanding, and commitment to new information management practices.
Partner with senior leaders, business unit representatives, and project stakeholders to build sponsorship and drive organisational readiness.
Conduct change impact assessments and stakeholder analyses to identify potential resistance and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
Coordinate and deliver training programs, workshops, and awareness sessions to build user capability and confidence.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships across the agency to facilitate collaboration and alignment between technical and business areas.
Monitor and report on change readiness, adoption, and benefits realisation to support project success and continuous improvement.
Provide expert advice to project leadership on communication and engagement strategies that will enhance the likelihood of sustained behavioural and process change.
Contribute to project governance and documentation, including change plans, stakeholder engagement logs, communication plans, and lessons learned.
Key Requirements
Demonstrated experience delivering organisational change in ICT, digital transformation, or information management projects.
Strong understanding of records and information management principles, including familiarity with enterprise electronic document and records management implementations or tools such as SharePoint Online and Content Manager.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute change and communication strategies aligned to project objectives and organisational culture.
Skilled in stakeholder engagement, influencing senior leaders, and building networks across diverse business units.
Strong facilitation, coaching, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical or process change into clear, relatable messages.
Experience developing and delivering training and end user adoption programs to support system rollouts.
Sound knowledge of change management frameworks and methodologies.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare professional artefacts such as change impact assessments, communication plans, and readiness reports.
P.S This position may involve occasional travel across several locations for stakeholder engagement and training activities.
