About the opportunity
Based at Menora Gardens Retirement Living
Part Time Permanent, 45.6 hours per fortnight
Flexible shifts: 7am - 3:06pm or 8am - 4:06pm
Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, this role will ensure the condition and appearance of our Menora Gardens Retirement Living community is of the highest standard to provide a pleasant and safe environment for residents, staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and enhance gardens, lawns, and outdoor areas to a high standard. Perform planting, pruning, weeding, mowing, and general landscaping tasks.
* Ensure all outdoor spaces are clean, safe, and visually appealing.
* Conduct routine inspections to identify and address gardening needs.
* Operate and maintain gardening equipment safely and effectively.
* Collaborate with the facility team to create outdoor spaces that support resident well-being.
* Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
To be successful, you will have
* Experience in maintenance and grounds duties, preferably in an aged care environment.
* Relevant Certificate IV qualification and/or significant relevant experience.
* Current valid driver's licence.
* Evidence of Australian work rights.
* NDIS workers Screen (or willing to obtain).
* Flu vaccination (recommended).
* A pre‐employment medical assessment may be required for this role.
* Availability to participate in a shared on‐call roster to ensure continuity of service.
