Your Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Development Engineer to join our Innovation Team at B&D Group.
This role is pivotal in driving product development, engineering support, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance B&D Group's business development, profitability, competitiveness, and sustainability practices.
As a Product Development Engineer, you will design and develop new products, components, and manufacturing systems, implement engineering support measures, and continuously improve our current product range.
Responsibilities
Manage projects with a plan and process mindset, utilizing project management tools aligned with B&D's stage gate process.
Use 3D CAD software and DFM proficiency to develop products that are efficient to manufacture, easy to install, align with brand promise, and focus on product quality.
Enhance product quality and competitiveness through continuous improvement, supporting manufacturing to achieve maximum utility, quality, and safety.

Skills & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience in mechanical design and end-to-end product development.
Expertise in SolidWorks (3D/2D), system analysis tools, and engineering drawing standards.
Skilled in material technologies (plastics/metals) and manufacturing processes.
Proficient in design and analysis methods: DFA, DFM, DFMEA, FMEA, FEA.
Strong ERP knowledge (SAP or equivalent) and cost-effective product design.
Effective communication with solid project management and documentation skills.
