Responsibilities
* Build positive relationships with young people and fellow team members
* Follow a routine developed specifically for a young person's needs
* Transport young people to and from school, day programs and appointments
* Complete activities and enjoy mealtimes together
* Assist in implementing programs designed for the growth and development of young people
* Complete summary notes
* Create a safe and homely environment for them to live in and enjoy
Essential Criteria
* Current Working with Children Check (for paid employment)
* Current First Aid Certificate (Provide First Aid; Course Code HLTAID003)
* National Police Check
* International Police Check for applicants who have lived continuously for 12 months or more in another country within the last 10 years
* Current driver's licence
* Willingness to participate in a Worker/Carer Exclusion Scheme Check
* Current NDIS Worker Check
Qualifications
* Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention, or a recognised relevant qualification
* Completed mandatory units of competency: CHCMHS007 – Work effectively in trauma informed care; CHCPRT009 – Provide primary residential care; CHCCCS009 – Facilitate responsible behaviour
