Position Overview
We are currently seeking skilled HD Diesel Mechanics to join our dynamic team. The successful candidates will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of heavy‐duty diesel machinery in remote mining sites across Australia. Key Responsibilities
* Conducting routine maintenance and inspections on heavy‐duty diesel machinery.
* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
* Performing engine overhauls, component replacements, and system upgrades.
* Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
* Collaborating with other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
* Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Requirements
* Certificate IV Heavy‐Duty Diesel Mechanic qualification is required.
* Proven experience working with heavy‐duty machinery, preferably in the mining or construction sector.
* Minimum 3-5 years of heavy‐duty machinery experience is required.
* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in remote locations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Valid driver's license.
* FIFO experience is highly desirable.
* OEM experience will be highly regarded.
* Australian citizenship is required for this position.
