As a seasoned leader, you will spearhead the execution of Contractor Standing Capability activities, guiding a small team of engineering professionals in maintaining the VLF Communications Transmitter and its associated infrastructure. Reporting to the HEH Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for developing priority engineering change documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, safety, and technical performance while meeting project schedules within budget and timeframes. You will also oversee risk assessments, manage subcontractor performance, and lead technical reviews, activity planning, estimating, and scheduling for all engineering activities. This role requires a strong background in electrical systems and standards, with a minimum of 10 years post-graduate experience, including 2 years of Engineering Management experience. A Bachelor's degree in engineering is essential, and Chartered Professional Engineering status via Engineers Australia is highly desirable. Additionally, you must be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
