We're now looking for a motivated and capable Field Service Technician to service our growing power and lighting portfolio across Western Australia.
The opportunity
Based in Landsdale and reporting to the Service Manager, this is a genuine step up for a trade‐qualified technician ready to move from workshop-based work into a field service role.
You will work on industry‐leading equipment including Perkins engines, FG Wilson generators, pumps and Allight lighting towers, delivering diagnostics, repairs and commissioning services directly to our clients.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Performing diagnostics, servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance on diesel engines, generators, pumps and lighting towers
* Attending customer breakdowns and emergency call‐outs in the field
* Commissioning, testing and fault‐finding new installations on site
* Providing technical product support to customers and internal teams
* Completing accurate service documentation and ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard
* Taking ownership of assigned jobs and managing time effectively in a field environment
Your strengths
* Strong mechanical aptitude with a genuine interest in diesel engines and power generation equipment
* Ability to work independently and manage field-based workloads
* A customer‐focused approach with professional communication skills
* Willingness to learn and upskill, including exposure to power generation if new to you
* Electrical awareness and experience will be highly regarded
