About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team at Smith McCarthy Wilson as a Paraplanner with potential to develop into qualified financial planning role. In this full-time role, you will be based in our Warragul VIC office and play a key part in delivering and implementing holistic financial planning services to our valued clients.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting in the daily administration and implementation of our client advice
* Collaborating with our Financial Advisers to develop and implement comprehensive financial plans tailored to clients' unique needs and goals
* Maintaining strong relationships with clients by providing ongoing support and advice
* Staying up-to-date with industry regulations, legislation and best practices
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of our financial planning processes and tools
What we're looking for
* Experience in either paraplanning or financial planning role
* Strong technical knowledge of financial products, strategies and regulations
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms
* Proven track record of delivering exceptional client service and building long-term relationships
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and take initiative when appropriate
* Commitment to professional development and staying up-to-date with industry changes
* Ambition to develop into a qualified financial planner highly preferable
* Australian permanent residency or citizenship required
