NDIS SUPPORT WORKER WANTED – NOBLE PARK AREA (VIC 3174)
Grace Quality Care (GQC) is currently seeking a compassionate, experienced and female support worker with a non‐judgemental and accepting approach to support a participant located in Noble Park, VIC. This role would suit someone who is passionate about mental health support, community participation, and providing affirming care within the LGBTQIA+ community.
Participant Overview
* Participant identifies as: Trans Queer / Gender Fluid
* LGBTQIA+ community member
* Requires a worker who is accepting, supportive, respectful and understanding
Support Needs
* BPD
* CPTSD
* Anxiety
* Depression
* Gender Dysphoria
* Suicidal Ideation history
The ideal worker will
* Have experience or solid understanding of mental health support
* Be emotionally mature, patient and trauma‐informed
* Be LGBTQIA+ affirming and culturally respectful
* Be able to build trust and maintain professional boundaries
* Be supportive during both good and difficult mental health days
Shift Details
Tuesdays 11:00am – 3:00pm or Wednesdays 4 hours weekly.

Worker Preferences
* Female support worker only
* LGBTQIA+ identifying workers encouraged to apply
* Must be open‐minded, friendly and accepting
* Participant prefers a free meet‐and‐greet prior to commencement to ensure compatibility
Essential Requirements
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Working With Children Check (preferred)
* First Aid & CPR
* Driver's licence and reliable vehicle
* Experience supporting psychosocial or mental health participants highly regarded
