We're looking for a Restaurant Technology Specialist to help keep our in-store technology running smoothly across our restaurant network.
This hybrid role spans both Helpdesk and Field Services, ensuring restaurant systems remain operational, aligned to SLA expectations, and able to support seamless trading and a consistent customer experience.
ABOUT YOU – OUR NEXT ORIGINAL
* Relevant IT qualifications and/or 2–3 years' experience in IT support or a similar role
* Previous restaurant operations experience is highly regarded, as it helps build strong understanding of in-store systems and trading environments
* Proven experience supporting POS and KDS systems (e.g. NCR Aloha), EFTPOS (e.g. Adyen), Windows OS and networking (TCP/IP), Kiosk and Online Ordering
* Experience with tools such as JSM, Logic Monitor and Endpoint Central (preferred)
* Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Ability to travel to restaurant locations as required
* Comfortable working in a 7-day operational environment, including shift rotations
* Flexible and adaptable to business demands and project timelines
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR RESTAURANT TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST
Helpdesk (Level 1 Support)
* Provide first line IT support via JSM tickets and phone support for high-priority incidents
* Troubleshoot and resolve incidents within SLA targets
* Remotely access and support in-store systems
* Liaise with internal teams and external vendors as required
* Maintain and contribute to the knowledge base
* Identify recurring issues and support problem management initiatives
* Minimise disruption to restaurant operations through timely and effective support
Field Services Operations
* Provide on-site installation, configuration and support for restaurant technology (POS, KDS, EFTPOS, DMBs, networking and kiosks)
* Support new restaurant openings, device refreshes and project rollouts
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to restaurant operations
* Maintain system stability through regular maintenance, patching and updates
* Ensure operational readiness of all in-store systems
* Coordinate with third-party vendors for repairs and maintenance
* Manage IT assets, documentation and deployment standards
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and new technology rollouts
