This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 3, 2026.

Role Overview
This role seeks an experienced Network Administrator to manage the College network environment end‐to‐end, focusing on reliability, cybersecurity and system administration.
Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain the site's network infrastructure.
* Oversee risk management, including data security, system backups and disaster recovery protocols.
* Contribute to system enhancements by researching and identifying appropriate IT resources.
* Configure and implement hardware, Windows servers, and virtual machines.
* Improve the college network's cyber‐security footprint and develop strategies for emerging technology.
* Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve network administration challenges.
* Provide technical support and training to all users, including Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) initiatives.
* Build staff capacity to use technologies and deliver high‐level technical support to staff and students.
Qualifications & Experience
* Strong technical knowledge and skills to manage hardware, software, and other IT resources.
* Experience configuring and implementing Windows servers and creating/ managing virtual machines.
* Working knowledge of operating systems across Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, and Linux.
* Experience with the Department's Standard Operating Environment (SOE) is an advantage.
* Ability to improve cyber‐security posture of the network and implement new technology.
* Strong conceptual and analytical thinking skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work autonomously.

* Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
* Obtain a valid Working With Children Check before starting.
