The Agentic Business Lead partners with business functions across OneDigital to identify, procure or build, and adopt AI tooling that transforms how non-technical teams work. The Agentic Business Lead partners with business functions across OneDigital to identify, procure or build, and adopt AI tooling that transforms how non-technical teams work. The role focuses on business operations, including marketing, finance, people, legal, procurement, and other corporate functions, helping them capitalise on emerging AI capabilities to drive efficiency, quality, and new ways of working. You will operate across the full lifecycle of business AI adoption: understanding current processes and pain points, identifying where AI tooling can add value, sourcing or building solutions, and supporting teams through adoption. The role is equal parts opportunity scout, solution broker, and adoption partner. You will work closely with the Change Manager on behaviour change and embedding, the AI Enablement Lead on personal productivity opportunities, and the Senior AI Engineer when opportunities require custom-built solutions rather than commercial products. The primary audience is non-product business functions, in contrast to the Enablement and Tooling Specialist who focuses on product teams. What you’ll be doing Opportunity identification and stakeholder engagement · Build relationships with business function leaders across OneDigital to understand their processes, pain points, and opportunities for AI-enabled improvement · Proactively identify business process transformation opportunities where AI tooling can drive meaningful value · Represent the business perspective in Accelerator planning and prioritisation, advocating for opportunities that deliver meaningful business outcomes · Maintain deep knowledge of the AI business tools landscape, tracking market evolution, emerging capabilities, and vendor developments Solution sourcing and procurement · Evaluate, recommend, and procure AI solutions for business functions, conducting vendor assessments, building business cases, and managing procurement processes · Partner with the Senior AI Engineer when opportunities require custom-built solutions rather than commercial products · Build business cases that articulate value in terms business leaders understand and withstand commercial scrutiny Adoption and embedding · Support business teams through adoption of new AI tooling, working closely with the Change Manager on behaviour change and embedding · Collaborate with the AI Enablement Lead on opportunities related to personal productivity tools and their application to business function workflows · Track and report on value realisation from business AI initiatives, building the evidence base for further investment Knowledge export and contribution · Contribute to the Accelerator’s knowledge export function by documenting business AI use cases and sharing learnings with divisional business teams · Contribute to playbooks that capture repeatable approaches to business AI adoption · Translate between business needs and technical possibilities, acting as the team’s expert on what is possible for business process transformation What you'll bring to the table · 6 to 10 years of experience in business transformation, business analysis, technology consulting, or similar roles that bridge business and technology. · Demonstrated experience driving adoption of technology solutions within business functions, not just technical teams. · Track record of stakeholder engagement across senior business leaders in functions such as Marketing, Finance, People, or Operations. · Experience evaluating and procuring business software solutions, including vendor assessment and business case development. · Strong business process analysis skills, able to understand current state, identify inefficiencies, and envision technology-enabled improvements. · Knowledge of the AI business tools landscape and the ability to rapidly evaluate emerging solutions. · Familiarity with procurement and vendor management processes. · AI-first mindset, using AI tooling extensively in day-to-day work and genuinely enthusiastic about helping others discover its potential for their roles. · Commercial awareness and a solution orientation, focused on finding practical paths to value rather than pushing specific technologies. · Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across business leaders who may have varying levels of technology fluency. · Strong communication skills, able to translate between business needs and technical possibilities. · A relevant tertiary qualification in business, technology, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
