About the Role
The Recruitment Officer will carry out recruitment, selection and onboarding activities in accordance with policy and procedure.
Duties
* Carry out recruitment and selection activities in accordance with applicable standard operating procedure.
* Carry out onboarding activities in accordance with policy and SOP.
* Communicate effectively and accurately with stakeholders, verbally and in writing.
* Coach and educate line managers in recruitment, selection and onboarding processes, and how to use the e-recruit system.
* Plan and contribute to projects using the guidance set out in the Project Management Framework.
* Create and maintain project documentation as required, including recording of risks and issues.
* Provide service delivery in line with the team's Service Level Agreement with a key focus on customer service.
* Support the Corporate Services approach to holistic service delivery.

Requirements
* Experience in end-to-end recruitment and selection, and employee onboarding.
* Knowledge of onboarding new employees.
* Effective time management skills.
* Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
* A high standard of written and verbal communication and comprehension skills.
* Ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
* Problem solving capability.
* Ability to guide and lead others in application of recruitment and selection processes.
* Experience with Children's Card (Blue Card) or eligibility to apply.
* National Police Check.
* Driver's Licence.
* Evidence of Work Rights.
Preferred
* Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources.
* Good understanding of the Australian industrial instrument system.
